Zusammen Frankfurt – Shat Sipur
Shat Sipur is a monthly Hebrew storytime for Israeli families in Frankfurt, inspired by the program’s success in Berlin. Each meeting features a seasonal or holiday-themed story, followed by creative enrichment activities—all in Hebrew. This shared space strengthens community ties, fosters cultural connection, and helps children feel confident using their heritage language in a fun, social setting.
ArtPro Teen & Youth Training Weekend – Barcelona
From July 20–26, 2024, 16 young participants from Barcelona, London, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, and Canada came together for an intensive arts training, sponsored by Nevatim. Led by acclaimed Israeli actress and producer Anya Zicer, the program used the Verbatim Theatre method—turning real people’s words into performance—to build theater skills, emotional intelligence, and project management abilities.
The week concluded with a live performance at the Reformist Synagogue Bet Shalom, bringing together over 50 community members and artists for an inspiring cultural exchange.
Zusammen Vienna
Zusammen Vienna has quickly become a vibrant hub for the Israeli community in Austria, offering Shabbat dinners, cultural events, kids' programs, and more in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Highlights like the Academy for Kids bring Hebrew-language learning to life every Sunday, led by passionate Israeli volunteers in fields like science, art, and music.
Zusammen Vienna is part of the growing network of Israel Community Europe (ICE) initiatives. Nevatim proudly supports these community-building projects across Europe, including Zusammen Berlin and others.
SVOI – Infopoint
SVOI is a bilingual Telegram-based platform and event series that provides crucial support for Ukrainian refugees in Munich. Beyond information and orientation, it offers creative gatherings to foster connection, mental health, and cultural exchange. With over 5,000 subscribers, it’s a lifeline for many navigating displacement.
Jewish Parents Academy – Estonia
This project supports Jewish families in Estonia through parent-focused learning rooted in both Torah and modern psychology. It offers seminars, parenting circles, and community events to strengthen Jewish identity, build intergenerational connections, and empower parents as community leaders.
WOW Vienna
WOW is a vibrant center for Jewish women in Vienna offering workshops, learning, and personal development events throughout the year. From Torah classes to wellness sessions, WOW supports women of all backgrounds—professionals, mothers, and students alike—with a warm, inclusive, and empowering environment rooted in tradition.
Cultural Podcast – Albania
A multimedia education project based in Albania that bridges the past and present of Jewish life in the Balkans. It includes a live conference and a podcast series featuring stories, interviews, and discussions around Jewish heritage, memory, and youth identity. The project fosters regional cooperation and creative expression in an often-overlooked part of Europe.
J-Fashion – MyJcon
Jewish identity meets fashion design in this creative seminar series. Participants explore personal and collective narratives through textile and style, designing wearable art that reflects their own story. From concept to sketch to final product, J-Fashion gives young Jews a new, bold language for self-expression. And you can find it on Instagram as MyJcon.
Knowledge = Tolerance – Serbia
This program trains young Serbian Jews to become educators and ambassadors of Jewish culture. Participants gain the tools and confidence to lead workshops in public schools and community settings, promoting awareness, understanding, and pride in Jewish heritage. The project builds bridges while empowering youth to share their story.
Move On Together – Israeli Way
This project uses dance and body movement as powerful tools to fight antisemitism and strengthen Jewish identity among young people in Poland. Drawing on Israeli cultural traditions like folk dance, Gaga, and movement therapy, the workshops offer physical, joyful engagement with Jewish life. Events are held in Jewish spaces and cultural festivals to reclaim visibility and belonging.
SHIUR Community Recharge
SHIUR combines classical Jewish learning with contemporary creativity—exploring ritual, art, and identity through interdisciplinary study. With new high-quality print materials, live events, and curated content, the Recharge project builds infrastructure for a sustainable, vibrant SHIUR community in Europe and beyond. After October 7th the activities of SHIUR/Micky Weinberg became very focused on the fight for peace and finding solutions for the future of Arab – Jewish dialog.
Mayim Chaim
An innovative Torah study initiative that brings Jewish women in Germany together through digital platforms for text learning and discussion. Participants study Jewish texts with peers and receive input from leading Orthodox rabbis. Mayim Chaim fosters a pluralistic space for serious learning, spiritual growth, and community rooted in tradition.
Kabbalat Shabbat – Opera
This unique chamber opera project transforms the sacred traditions of Shabbat into a multisensory experience. Combining Jewish liturgy, live performance, and interactive staging, "Kabbalat Shabbat" creates a powerful encounter with Jewish spirituality. Audiences are invited not just to watch, but to feel and participate—reimagining what Jewish ritual can look and sound like today.
EDA Magazine, Podcast & Community
EDA is a creative platform where young Jews explore identity and society through journalism, art, and audio storytelling. The semi-annual magazine and monthly podcast dive into current issues, cultural trends, and personal narratives—while live launch events turn content into community. It’s a media project powered by youth, curiosity, and a desire to challenge and connect.
ArtMinds
ArtMinds is an inclusive, expressive space that brings people together through the transformative power of creativity. It offers workshops in art therapy, guided exhibitions, and collaborative events that promote emotional health, self-expression, and dialogue. The project is a celebration of individuality and a bold statement about the power of culture to connect, heal, and inspire.
Kochavim – Young & Strong in Leipzig
At the heart of Leipzig’s Jewish youth center, Kochavim empowers teens and young adults to develop their own grassroots initiatives that blend tradition with creativity and joy. It’s more than a program—it’s a movement where Jewish pride meets real leadership. With mentorship and space to explore, this group shines as a model of what happens when young Jews take ownership of their community life.
NOODNIK – Print Culture with Jewish Flavor
NOODNIK is a bold and witty magazine published by the Jewish Austrian Students Union. Far more than a student zine, it’s a creative print space where Jewish identity meets art, culture, and humor—with a distinctly Viennese twist. Through essays, illustrations, and visual storytelling, NOODNIK gives a voice to a new generation exploring what Jewishness looks like in everyday life.
SisterHub Austria II
A vibrant and safe digital hub on Instagram created by and for Ukrainian women in Vienna—many of them Jewish refugees who arrived after the war. SisterHub provides essential information about life in Austria in a structured, accessible, and culturally sensitive way, all in their native language. Topics range from everyday tips to Jewish life and holidays. But even more importantly, it offers a community of belonging, emotional support, and mutual empowerment for women navigating life far from home.
Shalom, Ukraine
This project welcomes Ukrainian children and teens into Jewish life in Munich through a wide-ranging program of integration activities. From German lessons and cultural events to creative workshops and psychological support, Shalom, Ukraine fosters healing, confidence, and friendship for young people adjusting to new realities. The project also connects families and builds bridges between Jewish, Ukrainian, and German cultures.
GED'I
An intensive leadership program in Frankfurt that supports politically engaged Jewish youth and young adults. GED'I strengthens core skills in nonprofit leadership, strategy, and community organizing—especially for student union board members, activists, and emerging changemakers. The project also builds inter-organizational connections and fosters shared knowledge across Jewish youth movements in Germany.
YALLAGAN: The Ultimate Hub
Yallagan is an ambitious digital project designed to become the go-to platform for Jewish event listings worldwide. By centralizing information that’s currently scattered across social media and messaging apps, Yallagan simplifies access to Jewish life in all its diversity.
